Yes — this event exists for exactly that. There are beginner tracks, mentors on call through the whole build window, and separate judging for first-years. Plenty of past participants wrote their first real program during the hackathon itself.
No. Register solo and use the team-finder on your dashboard, or join a friend using their team code. Teams can be 1 to 4 people. Every member registers individually.
Your participation slot, mentor access, judging, certificate, and platform costs. It also filters out no-shows — paid events consistently have far higher attendance, which means your team actually shows up.
Online (Pan-India). You can participate from anywhere in India — no travel or accommodation cost.
Nothing bad happens. You keep whatever you learned. But you will not receive a certificate, since those go to teams that submit.
Registration fees are non-refundable once paid, since your slot is reserved and mentor capacity is allocated. If the event is cancelled by the organisers, everyone is refunded in full.
