Every event asking students for money should be willing to say who is running it. Here we are.
Found Firsthack and Orynex. I signed up for my first hackathon knowing nothing about how one worked and nearly did not turn up. FirstHack is built for that version of me the one who almost did not enter.
Our mentor panel is being confirmed and will be listed here before registrations close. We are selecting working engineers and final-year students who have shipped real projects, with at least one mentor available per 25 participants for the length of the competition.
Want to mentor? Write to us via the contact page.
To be announced before Round 1 opens. We are inviting engineers and final-year students from IITs, NITs and IIITs, together with people working in industry, to sit on the panel. Invitations have gone out; names and affiliations are published here as they are confirmed.
Every submission is scored against the published rubric on our rules and judging page. The criteria and weightings are fixed now, before anyone has entered — so who ends up judging cannot change what is being measured, and no single judge can swing a result.
If we are unable to confirm an external panel in time, this page will say so plainly and name whoever does the judging instead. You will know before the first round closes, not after results.
We are looking for mentors, judges, sponsors, and one student ambassador per college.
